Re: Looking for pulls
"Pulls" are bullets that have been pulled from previous rounds to be reused. For whatever reasons, there are military ammunition where the bullets are pulled from their cases and then sold to reloaders to load them in their own cases.

Nah, the only dumb question is the un-asked one..... pulls are the military surplus projectiles that are pulled...
I do not know but there for awhile to import ammunition and to sell surplus military ammunition to the public, companies had to de-militarize ammunition to sell it, so they would take it apart and sell components. sell surplus projectiles, powder, cases, primers.... the bullet pulls were referred to as the pulled projectile...
you could get decent projectiles for a very decent price...

Re: Looking for pulls
I took a look and it looked interesting to me. So I bought some.
I got 500 of the 110 gr for .30 Carbine and 500 of the 62 gr for .223.
Notice the ink pen they sent at no extra charge. A nice touch.
I ordered them on Sunday, October 23, 2011. They arrived today, Thursday, October 27, 2011. They shipped from St. Louis MO and I live in Houston, TX.
The plastic bag that the .223 came in split during transit and spilled into the box they were shipped in. That does not bother me one bit.
The 30 Carbine bullets look like new.
The 223 bullets all have pull marks on them.
So did I get a decent deal or did I pay too much?

Re: Looking for pulls
I use them all the time for surplus powder. I have never bought pull down bullets because if the condition of the bullets you show. However now that I swage bullets I am wondering if maybe I could straighten them out some by running them in my point form die? I may have to try that out if they are cheap enough.
