Kentucky Muzzleloading season
Well the first muzzleloading season for this year was this past weekend (we have a 2nd season in December). It was buck only this weekend, and I got into the tree around 8:40 am, wind was up around 15-20 mph. So I figured with the full moon and high winds deer wouldn't move until around midday. So I sit watching tree rats until noon when 5 does come within 25 yards, they pick and pick then one gets spooked and the whole mob runs. I stay until 5:00 pm, I couldn't handle my tree swaying anymore, no bucks anywhere.
So, hopefully I'll go back to the same spot with my bow this week and maybe get me a doe.

Wish you could have bagged a buck but this way you can go ahead and get ya some meat in the freezer. Horn hunting can come a little later
