I prefer an A2 for long range or target shooting. I do hear some of the $200+ collapsibles don't have play in them.
I have gone to buying some $35 cheapies from a local store for my plinkers. I recently put on a Magpul MOE and while nice, it is more expensive and has about the same amount of play. At least it is made in the USA though (Colorado i think which you'll like) and would take more abuse.

I also need a buffer spring kit? I have a stripped lower. I ordered the MagPul CTR. What do you think is a good all around kit ?

Ok, now all you need to do is go out and buy this special parts kit. With this parts kit you will out shoot any other AR15 in the world. Bushmaster makes this particular parts kit. It is kind of expensive though. I believe the kit is called "ACR." Trust me, once you get this thing installed you will be good to go.

The CTR is a fine choice for a carbine. Now get a carbine tube, spring and h2 buffer. Make sure you get a buffer tube that matches the CTR you ordered....Mil spec vs. commercial...they have slightly different diameters.
