Reloading 9mm
Hello, to this sites funs!!!
I live in Greece/Athens, i am a Lt.Col. pilot officer and i got an issue! I have a CCW permit for my XDM 9mm handgun but since the bullets became these days crazy expensive (25 euros/50round, 9 mm/115 gr RN) , i made my decision to start reloading. The problem is, i can't find primers and powder for that....everything else i can get it one way or another.Due the financiall problems we have here in Greece, the bullets cost will get higher. So,reloading is the best way to solve my problem, i think. Can anyone help me out?I'd appreciate, a lot!!!
THANK YOU.

I don't know how to hook you up in Europe but here are a couple of people who may. wiederladertv,,fusil56300 Wiederladertv is from Germany and Fusil is from France. Both reload and I would imagine they may know where you can find primers and powder ... By the Way Welcome to the Site!!!!

Re: Reloading 9mm
i believe he might be looking for some tricks or secrets for powder and primers. I am not really sure what kind of info to give. Not sure what ammo you might get for cheap that you could use the powder from to load with.

Re: Reloading 9mm
Since in Europe 9mm (especially 9x21) is very popular I think you'll not have problems in finding both cheap or HQ powder and primers (small pistol).
I, in Italy, usually use:
- cheap reloading:
- powder cheddite granular s fine ( €22/Kg)
- fiocchi primers (€ 20/1500units)
- Lead round nose bullets Romana Metalli (€ 35/1000units)
- Medium cost reloading (what I use for Production):
- powder Nobel Sport GM 3 (€40/Kg)
- CCI primers (€25/1000units)
- Lead Round Nose bullets Target (€ 38/1000units)
- High cost reloading (good for IPSC OPEN or defence reloading):
- powder Vihtavuori N320 or N340 (€ 80/Kg)
- CCI primers (€25/1000units)
- FMJ TC bullets (€60/1000units)
I use a Lee pro 1000 press, very cheap (€180), with very good results (max 0,1% error); but "professional" reloaders usually prefer and suggest Dillon's.
A Dillon 650XL is around €700 but I think you can find a used one.
Good reload.
