I like the concept - but for me, the msrp is way out of line...

Ok The question has to be asked you mention hiding it under the bed, do you mean that you can not have it out in the open, or is that just your first idea,
I am limited on space also but I saw a reloading bench a few years ago on a website an copied the idea it was a book shelf made of 2x8 and carraige bolts very sturdy bolted to the wall and did not look bad and was only 2 feet wide will have to try and get a picture of mine
