sure lucky that gun was in the picture, because a pink coffee mug, scented candle, and a basket of laundry makes me question your man card.

The candle was to set the mood. The coffee cup, the wife had set down when she had to go to the kitchen. The clothes basket was something she was working on folding before the kids got home.........

I degreased the upper and treated it with froglube. The Beowulf in turn took the candle and gave me a wax of my own

Might nice Tommy! But I gotta tell ya, I think you are going to need a bigger press to swage some of them!!!!!

I believe what I am going to do, instead of swaging for this round, once I get my lathe set up in my reloading room, I believe I am going to try and turn my own for this one.

That round in the picture is 350grain Hornady Brass Spitzer- target and dangerous game load. I am not sure if those are turned or not. Should be fun trying tho...

Can I use it? I'll return it, I swear

We will get to it. Tomorrow, I am going to a friends property to teach her how to shoot a 12 gauge and to let another friend of mine shoot my Tauras and Makarov as he is wanting to get into firearms and looking to buy something. Then, we are going to head to the range in Bland so that I can site in the Eotec at 100 yards and to try the Beowulf out. Hoping it is going to be a fun day. It has been over a year since I pulled the trigger on anything... well just about I think, I can't remember...

I did get out and shoot it. I did get vid of it. It was a fail on my part cause I was trying to site in the eotec at 100 yards and the guy at the bench next to me would not leave me alone so I let him help call out my shots. I was testing a pair of glasses that has the cam in the bridge of it. So you kinda look through the glass at the muzzle brake and then the recoil and that was about it. I am disapointed in the video. I only have about 6 rounds left to shoot It was fun, however, I am kinda disapointed in the recoil. I was so looking for a bruised shoulder, but did not get it. I may have to take the brake off and try it wide open...

The recoil will probably be no worse than a 20 gauge shotgun...which means better accuracy

I made a video of me siting it in at the range. Doesn't look so good using the video recorder sunglasses. That and it was an epic fail siting it in at 100 yards without the magnifier for the Eotec.

I will get some video's out....

Right now I am working on a rifle sling for it making it out of paracord.

I don't know if you have the equipment or the means or desire but if you are looking for scrap brass in large quanities check out "govdeals.com" It is a site where local government agency auction things off. They always have scrap water meters for sale. Can get a little on the steep side but if you want to stock pile brass like lead this could be a good starting point.

I have bought several things from them in the past and have been pleased. Remember that almost everything on the site is used and abused for the most part.

If you have the same break I do on my AA upper you might consider dual hearing protection. Mine is unGodly loud and I found anything more than 10 rounds with muffs only my ears are a little sensitive. Worse if shooting indoors.

I have a nearly identical muzzle break on my AA upper. I've been cussed at the indoor range for flame spraying the guys beside me, and the muzzle flash is unbelievable.

When I shoot my .50 Beo indoors the nice folks at the range try to put me in a bay by myself so as not to be a nuisance to my fellow shooters.

Last time I was shooting there the local Po Po was shooting in the next bay and came over to see who was shooting the "cannon."

I let the Po Po try a few rounds and they loved it. Not sure they will buy one, but it sure put smiles on their faces.

I saw a video once of Doug Koenig (I think it was him) wearing triple hearing protection. The muffs were thin and he put a motorcycle helmet on other them.

I have the Tank break on mine. With my muff, it wasn't that bad with the sound. Then again, I was at the local Civil War reenactmen this weekend and was a mere 20 feet or so standing beside a Hwitzer Cannon and another type of cannon, no hearing protection, (did not know at the time I was going to be close) just grinning like a big dog everytime those cannons went off!! Man I was in my own world. Feeling the ground shake, my chest pounding, the smoke coming from the cannons, ah life was good that day lol...

Sounds like fun DW but be careful of your hearing, its easy to lose and hell without.
