aimsurplus and Lowers

Looking around at aimsurplus, I see they have back in stock their 59.95 Ar Lowers. Great price for someone wanting to build an Ar!! These are milspec and made out of the exact same material all other AR's are made from....

Good looking lower DW, thanks for the heads up. By the time I had it shipped to a local FFL I would have $100 tied up in it so I guess I'm gonna have to wait until I can get one assembled...

i have 2 of these lowers one is built on is still waiting. went together with out a problem and fit great

its not a sale taylor there $59. all day long when they have them and the spikes are
$79. i have seen the spikes on sale for $69 a couple times but i never had the money at that time go figure

Yep....and at that price you can get more than one of them.

...and sometimes what you get isn't worth what you payed for it...but at least it has the "name" engraved on it everyone seems to like.

At least the SAA's aren't made in China....

I think they look very nice....the pictograms for the safety selector is also a nice touch.

These lowers might the greatest thing since sliced bread, I don't know... but anytime I see something that is half price of almost everything else on the market, it sends up a red flag or two. Thats just me.

thats ok i have 2 of them as long as everyone thanks there junk i will keep buying 2 or 3 sometimes 4 for the price of 1 of the other brands and have a good lower that i have had NO problems with at all.

Aimsurplus can not keep them in stock. They are always on backorder. However, gunbroker has a ton of them, exactly the same one aims is selling and they are selling them for the same pice..

Why all the concern? They are forged...7075 aluminum alloy... T6 heat treated...and as long as the parts fit properly in them there shouldn't be any safety concerns. The lowers are not under any heavy stress or pressure so I can't see why anyone would have any reservations to build on them.
