The site offers three tests.

I posted a gun safe question a few weeks ago that gathered some great feedback.
I'm curious how you fellas will score on the "Is someone going to break in and burglarize your home?" Test.

I scored -51. Very Happy
Though, I think my grade reflects less on home safety and more on the fact I'm a pathetic lonely homebody. Embarassed

Rate Your Risk feedack

I scored all three tests, but I'll wait for others to chime in before my disclosure.

I scored a 9,7 and 17.

The VCR question made me laugh....who wants a VCR anyways?

Yeah, the questions are a bit dated.
I'll also note the concentration on using a land line? We still use a home telephone, but it's VOIP not a conventional telephone line.

I'm curious Tyler, do you carry while on base?

I feel (Let me rephrase that: I KNOW) the March 1993 ban on non-permit holding soldiers ability to carry while on base is complete bulls#!t.

Even with a concealed carry permit you are not allowed to carry on base. I am allowed to keep my firearms in my house though, not all bases allow that. Some make you keep them off base or in the armory.

That's terrible...

Akin to the bright idea of shaking down the 1st & 2nd officer on a flight.

You don't enter any personal information, so it's not like he's going to be able to find out where you live and come rob you.

Granted, no personal info was entered however the pc that it was entered from can be traced by it's ip address back through the ISP that it uses to connect to the internet. While not very many individuals have (or even want the programs to do that with) it is available to cyber crime units. An intellegent and determined induvudual could most likely aquire or write the code to accomplish the task. If he got that far and then hacked the records in your ISP's database, they hold account information to - yep, you gussed it.....

Your IP address is assigned by your ISP. It often changes and will always be different when you used multiple computers or other devices to connect to the internet. The only information someone could get is the area that the computer is connected in. So they could find out that someone on Hill Air Force Base answered the questions, but they still don't have my address.

LOL fletch! Even if they did find it they prolly wouldn't want to try and rob it ... Yeah, that is why they use dynamic rather than static addresses for the most part unless folks pay extra to have the static (web servers and such).
Ok, I've been off topic enough - carry on Smile

For those using smart phones, I am sure the ISP can't be traced back to that lol...
