Anyone try it?

Hodgdon lists a load for trail boss starting at 8 grains for a vel of 1045fps. With the speer100grn hpbt.

Could be fun chicken

No, I have not tried it. But it looks like it is the old Lee red dipper 108 that you want for 8 grains of Trail Boss.Subsonic243Win Dipper11

I got a 243 its an interesting Idea. I was thinking cast. One thing I really like about the 243 is its high velocity. So it would be kewl to see what you come up with in terms of accuracy range and damage .... I absolutely love my 243 its a very accurate rifle and would make a small game slayer if you could get something slow to work well.

I have loaded "Sub's" for my .308 with Trailboss and with 8.6gr's I am avearging 1058fps. The key is to start with a higher charge rate and work your way down. Cool Making sure the bullet clears the barrell before shooting the next one.

Update: this load is with 200gr RN cast gas checked bullets

i found a trail boss load for 30-06 im gonna try here soon i just gotta get my hands on some trail boss!
