Next rifle?

all of those choices are fine rifles but not what I would call a Bench rest rifle or caliber.

My choice would be a Savage/Axis

If your look'n for a bean-field gun , then the 25-06 ...
and toss a coin for the mfg.

My little brother just picked one up a few months ago. He had me do a backyard trigger job by snipping off a spring a little shorter, so the trigger isn't that bad...it wasn't completely terrible to begin with. The scope that came with it is a cheezy low line Bushnell...but even with the cheap scope it is a accurate rifle. The receiver is pretty beefy and it is long action length. The bolt operates smoothly and we haven't had any problems in the feed and eject dept.The barrel is as good as any other savage barrel...it just has the "less pretty" finish. What I didn't like was the stock and the removable magazine...the mags are expensive and I don't like how they attach to the stock.

Still a great gun for the money.

I like the Savage Mod 11 BTH in 25.06 I have it in a 243 that is very accurate less than 1/2 in at 100 yards with me shooting it I an 73 and not as good as I use to be.
