dartfreak, Did you ever finish your project with the 44 spl cases? I have been saving my split neck 44 mags in case the project was sucessful.

Hey buddy I haven't even started yet lol I put my swaging projects on the back burner I need a better press I have a lee its just not strong enough I was using my dads rcbs but I haven't messed with it in a while I just noticed this thread is a year old sorry I haven't replied before now !

It sounded like you planned to use the cases for some sort of .50 cal jacket. I have about 20 or so 44 mags that the top of the case has split that I've been saving. If interested they're yours for the cost of a small flat rate box. I will save up as many as I can. I have been spltting about 1 per trip to the range. This is my older original brass from 35 plus years ago.

Yea keep saving them let me know when you fill up a small flat rate box . Thanks a lot buddy

That may take a while. If you start your project and are ready to use them let me know and I can see if you want what I have on hand.
