i have a new barrel for my nef single shot..500 s&w mag ,seeing on the net .there was a guy makeing gas checks with atop mount die and cutter.has anyone else seen this . and if so were can i buy one.----------P.S NEF SOLD TO H&R AND I FOUND OUT THAT REMINGTON OWNS THEM.BUT NOW JAPAN WILL START MAKEING NEF RIFLES. THANKS .

I would contact Pat Marlin if your looking for a check maker. Corbin MFG makes them too but you will wait and pay through the nose for a corbin set.

I just checked a thread on another forum and depending on what you want and what Pat may have available seems to set the time for delivery. Apparently anywhere from 3 to 8 weeks Here is a link to his web site,

There is also a company called Freechex. I have never used a check maker but there are videos on youtube.
