308 Round
I checked the favorite load data section. I guess no one has a favorite load for their 308?
Anyone?

Re: 308 Round
I sure do!
42.0 grains of varget pushing a 168 grain Barnes TTSX bullet ignited by a CCI bench rest primer. I forget how far off the lands and grooves they are seated but .040 sticks in my head. The brass is fire formed in my rifles chamber then neck sized only, flash holes were deburred, primer pockets were uniformed, cases were weight sorted and necks were turned.
This load works super in my Remington 798 topped with a Zeiss conquest scope, printing 3 shot groups that you have a hard time telling if its 1 or 3 shots if I can do my part. If I'm having an off day I get 3 leaf clovers. It's also awesome on white tail deer, to date I have taken 5 deer with this load and none have went more than 5 yards. I also shot a groundhawg at between 110 and 120 yards and it turned it inside out.
