New member in Washington State
Don't want to be confused with the place of liars (er' I mean politicians). Got drawn to the site because someone referenced a discussion about using 22LR brass to make jackets for 223 bullets. Have been reloading for a couple of years. Except for 7.62x39 if I shoot it I reload for it. Something not quite right about a bullet that costs more than a loaded round. Haven't made any of my own bullets yet but am definitely interested in doing so.

Welcome and as mentioned you are talking about swaging. Most people look at the initial cost of buying equipment and decide they can buy a lot of bullets for that price. I swage for .430 handguns and a little for .357. Cost me over $1400.00 when all was said and done.
Look at some of Tommy's (Alias Daywalker) videos on YouTube. Helped me a lot.

I've noticed that one of the many reasons poor people stay poor is that the cheapest way to buy/produce things usually has a very high up front cost. With that said, I still haven't spent my way out of being poor yet.
