I picked up a pound to try in my .308 and .223 and just wanted to see if anyone has tried this yet and what they thought.

I'm sure that you already know that Hodgdon's website does have load data for this powder?
I forgot to mention that earlier.

Dennis (Sierrareloader) did in his 223 with good results. I haven't tried it yet.

Well I finally busted the can open and started to load my cases. It is a very small extruded powder. I would say the granuals are 1/2 to 1/3 the size of Varget. It meters very smoothly. I also pickeded up some 168gr Nosler BT's to try with this powder. So I am keeping the fingers crossed that they work out for me.

Can't wait to see your results with this powder. They have it listed for the Grendel and was biting at the bit to try it. I missed an oppertunity to buy a pound once Sad

For some interesting reading on 8208 do a Google search.

This is a good start:
http://www.longrangehunting.com/articles/imr-8208-xbr-review-1.php

I wanted a powder like this when I was shooting a 6.5x47 and 6.5x284 in F class.

I have not managed to use some of this powder but next time I am order a bunch of powder, I might add a canister of 8208.
