Setting up a Full Length Sizing Die
It seems like every time I click on the 'Reloading' page of most any forum that I frequent, I see a thread titled something like this: 'Help! Reloads Won't Chamber!' or, 'Bolt Won't Close on Reloads!' The problem is almost always diagnosed as improper sizing die adjustment.
Especially for the beginning (rifle) reloader, this can be a frustrating task ~ adjusting the seating die so that 1) your bolt will close on the brass, and, 2) your brass will last for more than 1-2 additional loads without experiencing head separations. As many have discovered, the factory instructions to screw the sizing die down until it touches the shell holder may or may not produce optimum results.
It doesn't require a crystal ball, and no chicken blood is needed. You just have to be smarter than the sizing die. Sinclair International puts out a monthly newsletter called The Reloading Press, and this is one of the topics they have covered in it. Here we have it: Setting Up a Full Length Sizing Die

Re: Setting up a Full Length Sizing Die
That should be very good information for any one reloading. You may also want to mention for those who use pump action and semi auto rifles if you follow all the manufacturers instructions on their dies and you still have problems cambering or fitting your cartridge Gage try Small base die sets.
