I out FOXED the FOX

I finally have shot my first Fox and I did it with my Savage Edge .243
I used 55gr Ballistic tips. It was out about 150 meters.....

That .243 didn't tear him up too bad, I thought that such a light bullet from a .243 would have nearly tore a fox in half?
Have Mat skin it out and have the hide tanned, Red Fox make beautiful wall skins. I've got a coyote on my wall, but haven't gotten a chance at a Red or Grey Fox yet.

I think Bones is just jealous cause he'd like to wear his pink camo jacket, but he's afraid the guys would poke fun at him.

Thanks all.....I did skin it or anything cause there was a big nasty exit hole on the other side of the fox....I hope to shoot more of the little critters this weekend and try out my new trigger...

I was a very proud Aussie.....I was so happy that i was dancing a jig in the paddock LOL
