Major Score
I'm not one to brag and the way this all came about is both sad and amazing. A dear friend of my family passed away and his widow said that he had a lot of powder and primers she wanted out of her house and asked if I wanted it. I said are you sure? she said she was and told me to come and get it. OMG he had a bunch of winchester Ball powder shotgun mostly and a lot of H110. and get this he had 6lbs of ALCAN 7 my all time favorite shotgun powder. I asked her if she wanted to sell his reloading stuff since she didnt want his powder. I had no Idea what all he had and really didn't care as I figured a couple hundred would help her out and i would take what few things he may have. Well she asked a hundred and I still hadn't seen what all he had and figured that I already had enough powder for a hundred. what I saw next blew me a way and I told her that it was worth much much more but she said she knew it and just wanted it all gone. I hauled out a car load and next weekend I am going to have to take my truck over there to get it all.
A MEC 600jr old style but looks almost new
a RCBS Rockchucker
thousands of wads
thousands of empty brass and shotgun shells and honestly I dont know what all
a RCBS scale but its not a 5-0-5 it has a tenth grain kinda like the Lee I have never seen a RCBS like it before still in the original box
I am still almost feeling guilty

That's awesome Dan, I'll make up a wish list and email it to ya.
I'm sure he's looking down at you right now grinning ear to ear like a father would at a son opening a Christmas present.

Re: Major Score
I'd say you owe her a few lawn mowings this summer and all her flower beds weeded and planted with fresh spring flowers.
Congrats on the mother load

Re: Major Score
Well this family is almost like a second Mom and Dad to me. My Dad and Ray were best of friends. I Knew that he reloaded but honestly didnt know what he had.
I am curious about that RCBS scale its a balance beam scale. But the tenth grain is not a slider like on the 5-0-5 its like a micrometer akin to the Lee but in pristine shape. as is all his reloading gear

Re: Major Score
Could it be a 5.0.2? My neighbor has the 5.0.2 but you said it isn't a slider so that could knock out the 5.0.2 scale...
