2013 Ice Fishing

Well I went out last Friday night for the first ice fishing trip of 2013. Ended up catching 20 keepers and my buddy added another 12 in the 5 hours we fished. All were between 6-12". No real monsters that night, but plenty for a fish fry.

Hopefully going back out this weekend with Fletch.

Congrats bones! That will be some fine eating.

I was in Michigan this past extended weekend. Back to the real world today. Did some Ice fishing Sunday. Caught some perch but no crappie. Good job lots of fun and good eating. The Ice wasnt good enough to get out on the bay so we fished some ponds. was ok If the temps stay low they should be fishing the Bay (Lake Huron) next week.

I hope to make it out to the Great Lakes area some day for ice fishing. I'd love to catch some monster perch, as I haven't seen anything bigger than about 4" here.

The ice was about 5-6" right now, I did see 1 area near the yacht club that was still open water.

Yeah, I have been growing it out the last couple months for the hunting seasons. I recently trimmed about 3" off the sideburns when I got a haircut.

I haven't shaved trimed or had a hair cut since august I'm pretty shaggy lol
