I want to check one out. I do think the rivets on the grips look like an afterthought, maybe they are screws I cant tell from the pic - they just look out of place.

I have an original Remington 51 and it is a great little gun, but I am not sure I like the look of the new design. It is a little too Buck Rodgers for me.

Me and '9' just don't get along , show me a 40 or a 45 and I'll take a 2nd look

I don't mind the 9 but I'll have to agree with George. My preference is a 40 or 45. In the automotive world the saying is " There is No substitution for cubic inches " . Don't care too much for the looks of this one though.

I had heard in the world of 'Self-defense' , it's just rude to shoot twice   

I am not into 9mm's. If I were I think I would get the Walther PPQ.

I think I'm gonna pass this on to my daughter , she's been looking for something small she can keep on her while she takes care of my grand-kids (ever since she got broken to while she was at home , in broad day-light)
