Brass .410 bore shotshells
Looking for a couple of loads for these. I have both 2 1/2" and 3" brass shells. Want to load buckshot and standard loads. Was wanting to use red dot powder but can't find any recipes. I plan on using fiber wads (homemede) and over shot cards (homemade) with no shotcup. If anyone has loading data for any of this it would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

Do not use RED DOT in a 410 bore you will blow up your gun it is way way to fast. Use H110 WW296 LiL Gun IMR 4227, Alliant 410 2400 faster powders will blow up your gun I repeat do not use RED DOT powder.
a good place to start would be the Hodgdon web site and the alliant web site. Also Solo powders have some data.

Yeah im a big fan of the H110 and the HS6 from Hodgdon. I also agree with Reload about going to the Hodgdon website its full of load data and very user friendly.
