Pacific swaging dies
Does anyone know anything about the Pacific bullet swaging dies? There is a set on Ebay for a reasonable price at the moment and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them or knows anything at all about them.

basically they all work alike not mater who made them but the big question is will they fit any press you have ... I saw those too I figured since I already have 44 dies I dont need them ... But with CH4D suspending their swage line it may be a good shot ... you may have to make some mods but as I see it its all mostly do able.

One of my concerns is that in their instruction manuel (which you can look at on line) it looks like they screw in the piece that goes on the ram. It's an old "C" press they are using. I have seen a couple of companies that make similar ones now. I think Hornady must have bought up Pacific because the manuel is on their site.

As long as the swage die will screw into your press, all that's left is the bottom punches that might or might not work with your press. You could either make your own or modify some Lee bullet sizer punches to work.

This auction still has 5 days left. If the bid gets too high I have decided to get a set from Hawk bullets.

Really!?
Where did you see or hear that (not that I doubt you just wondering if its mess hall plate rumor or fact)? I cannot find it on their website. That would be a shame as their swage dies are very reasonable. I know they were behind a bit on several orders.
It did take them almost a year to get my new bullet sizing die to me.
I have some older Pacific dies and they are pretty decent.

Well that sucks!
Thanks for the info. I probably will never swage any bullets again other than .224 and possibly .243 as it is but I hate to see them quit. The CH4D swage dies were pretty decent.
Some a$$hole stole my 38 cal CH4D five years ago and I have never replaced them.

I do not think its a permanent thing. and Dave is a business man if he gets enough demand he will make them.

Re: Pacific swaging dies
I contacted C & H about a set of 44 dies and was told it could take anywhere from 18 to 24 months to fill the order.
