Encore Laminate stock
I just received my grey laminate stock from EABCO which is made by Keystone/Revolution. The buttstock came with the grip screw & washers and the forend came with the correct forend screws. I do have some small red lines in the stock which EABCO calls "mineral streaks". They are not very noticeable or really an issue. I did notice the forend has a metal washer like the original T/C forend where the screw head tightens down on. The palm swell is pretty big around but puts my trigger finger in just the right spot. I purchased this set so I would be able to convert my Encore from pistol to rifle. The fit is very nice on this set and I am pretty happy so far.
I did have a walnut stock from Boyd's but returned it due to a big chip out in the buttstock and the forend screw holes where not drilled to the correct depth for the factory screws. The Boyd's forend also did not have the metal washer in the forend for the screw to tighten down on.

Very Nice. With Missouri letting us hunt with handguns in the old muzzle loading season (now alternative methods ) I'm looking for a Ecore pistol frame and a 45/70 gov barrel. I have a CVA apex but they don't make pistol grips or barrels.

You can buy just the frame for about 350-400. Does it have to be a straight walled case? If not I suggest going with a 7mm-08. I have the .243 and .30-06 pistol barrel and the 06' will beat you up by the time you shoot a whole box.

Any of those will work I just have some 45-70 just asking to be reloaded and shot. Sold my savage striker in .308 win a few years back. I wish I had it back.
