Re: all things 1911
Just happen to own one - and love it . If it is in good working order and can get it for a decent price, I don't think you wold be disappointed. It will eat pretty much anything I feed it and doesn't jam. Pretty accurate too. Mine has had to suffer through my ignorance when I first started reloading because I ended up reading the powder wrong on some of my first reloads and it felt like the slide had plenty momentum to fly off the end of the end of the receiver but she held together (thank goodness!) I corrected my mistake and worked the load up like a good realoader is supposed to do and it works well for me. Personally, I wouldn't hesitate to get another one just like it. Although I haven't had to work on or replace any parts I have heard that almost all of the Colt parts will interchange with it - I'm not sure. Hope this helps.

WOW, trading Ruger P94 off?? If I was in better position, I would talk to you about that P94. Never would think anyone would get rid of such a fine firearm. I had a chance to get one for around 250.00 I believe it was but it got sold before I could make it back to the gun shop...
PM me with what your thinking about selling that P94..... I may be able to come up with something

Congrats on the purchase! I haven't had any dealings with the RIA brand before but if it shoots as good as it looks - you have got a keeper. Two thumbs up....
