Ammunition Recall

Thanks for the heads up. The only non-handloads I have are 20 rounds of Gold Dot, so I'm good.

what is factory ammo?

dang i have a box and i shot a whole box threw my gun!! i guess il be calling that number! my box dont have a lot number it just has a parts number wm5233 but it dont have a lot i wonder id it is post recall stuff

no i bought these boxs before the recall was issued i guess i better call to be on the safe side!

thanks for letting us know! My little brother just bought a few boxes of Federal for the 45acp I sold him. I sent the message on to him.

im not real happy with federal right now iv called that number a dozen times today and cant get an answer they said to leave a message i did with no call back im sure there busy but they should at least answer the phone i dont even what my money back i just want to know if mine are safe or if i should pull the bullets and reload them my self i know i can do it safe!!

Too be honest with ya dart, you have the press and dies. Right now if you don't feel comfortable, and you don't want your money back, I would pull the bullets dump the powder and just load them with your own receipe.

Kinda sucks that you paid the price of factory ammo just to reload them yourself tho... Did your lot number fall into sequence with what was listed on the site?

That's why I don't like 45ACP
