1911 grips
i found a set of colt ww2 style grips for my 1911 just wondering what yall think do you like the wood or the black grips better on a matte stainless frame??

I have to agree with DW. As much as I like those wood grips I just don't think it would look as good as the black on the two tone.

Typically Id say wood. But the black looks better on that gun.

Get some Ebony grips
Silver/black laminate grips always look nice on stainless too.
For comfort ,look into the Hogue rap-around type

Those are my favorite grips Fletch and I have a set ready to go on the next 1911 I get.
Be careful buying them though...I've seen them priced from $20 up to over $50.

That is some nice looking grips there Fletch!! Better than that tho, That sure is a work of art from Taurus you have there as well!!! Just beutiful.

i think im gonna stick with black for now i got a plan though im gonna try making my own grips and checkering them myself iv been watching ebay for a checkering tool kit !!
