Re: one or two possible projects in the works
Well...this project may not ever be completed...at least by me. I might be trading it for a new Bushmaster AR-15 20" A2. The guy wants a Varmint rifle and would also like to shoot long range...so the 6.5 will come in handy for him. The AR would work great for my son to use in the NRA youth competitions...and would also make a great Christmas gift. I'll prolly kick my self later....thoughts?

So....this is a bad idea?
What about trading my 6.5 Lapua barrel for a NIB RCBS chargemaster 1500 ?

I say if you aren't using or planning on using the 6.5 lapua barrel, and you would really like the RCBS chargemaster 1500, I say go for it.

I backed out on the AR15 deal, but I did go ahead and make the deal on the Chargemaster....as many different calibers and loads I reload, it should come in handy.
So the Savage will remain a 223 and my 6.5 lapua pipe dream is history.
Go ahead and lock down this thread DW.
