muzzleloader pistol
hey guys iv got a question iv got a muzzle loader pistol its the old lyman style it recommends a .440 round ball with a .10 patch ( 45 cal) i was wondering if it would be safe to use a 452 cast bullet like im casting for my 45 acp my biggest concern is the weight of the bullet how much does a .440 round ball weight?

this link shows the .440 round to be 127 grains if i am reading it correctly.

my bullets are 230 grain thats a huge difference i wonder if they would be safe
