Hill Country Rifle Empty Hill Country Rifle

Post by RichBirdHunter Fri Jun 08, 2012 10:14 pm

I ordered a new gun today, heres the write up.
This is our Harvester rifle based on a stainless steel Remington 700 action and 24" barrel. The rifle has been fully Accurized with aluminum pillar and glass bedded action, into a McMillan Remington Sporter stock, 50% Olive, 30% Gray, 20% Black marble, with 1" Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad at standard length of pull. Rifle weight is only 7.5 pounds. The factory Mark-X Pro trigger is tuned to a crisp 3.0 pounds. Barrel break in is done and accuracy is outstanding. Three-shot group measures .550" at 100 yards with factory Federal Premium 180 TSX ammo!

It's gonna be harder to explain those misses from here on out.

According to the Remington web site here:
http://www.remington.com/products/firearms/centerfire/model-700/model-700-sps-stainless.aspx
The twist rate is 10".
