I have worked up an urge to buy a 22-250 rifle for killing paper. I want a fast twist rate. Is Nosler the only 22-250 rifle with a quick twist? Those Noslers are not cheap!

I shoot the Hornady Vmax 55grain # 22716
With 37.5 grains of H380 powder.

I can kill nickels at 100 yards all day long

The Savage has a 1 in 12 twist.

The Nosler is a 1 in 9 twist

I think that you will find that a 22-250 will shoot heavier bullets a lot better than you might be thinking. The 250 is a lot higher velocity and that in turn increases spin speed I would try a friends rifle with the noslers before I gave up. the 22-250 has a slower twist because its a lot higher velocity round.
