Hey guys I got a good one for ya.
We ( a buddy and I ) just inherited all of his dads reloading gear and in it we found a die we have no idea what it is, it almost looks like a sizing die but it has what looks to be a swage press with it on the side of the die there is a stamp that says 311-h1 it is in a lee case but we are not so sure it is made by lee his dad likes to find good use out of old cases and such so it was prolly just stored there cause he liked the idea of it. Any idea of what it might be?

I think you are thinking of the old ideal/lyman 310 knuckle busters.... different non standard dies

It's a Lee .311" bullet sizing die.

That would make perfect sense now we just need to figure what for, if you guys really want pic's I can take some but trust me they wont help much at all!!! Thanks mack60

No problem. Glad I could help. If he wasn't a bullet caster, maybe he had some bullets he wanted to size down to .311. Just a thought.
