I can't find reloading data
I got some 175 grain cast bullets I was gonna reload for my M&P40 but can't find any reloading data. I'll be using Universal Clays. Yes, I have tried Hodgdon.com, looked in my Lee's Modern Reloading book and still can't anything. Hodgdon is closed Friday-Sunday so what's a man to do ?

Re: I can't find reloading data
My Hodgdon manual of 2009 says a min charge of 3.2 gr, max charge of 4.1 gr for a 180 gr Speer FMJ.
According to my notes when I loaded for a friend's .40 S&W best accuracy with a 180 gr Speer Truncated Cone Total Metal Jacket (TCTMJ) was 3.5 gr. Primers were cheapest CCI, cases were range salvage whatevers. Nothing done other than knock old primer out, stuff new primer in, dump powder and cram bullet in.
I'd start about 10% less than the 3.2 gr charge since you are shooting lead and not jacketed. Work from there and see. Caveat emptor!!!
My book also says:
"This data is intended for use in firearms with barrels which fully support
the cartridge in the chamber. Use of this data in firearms which do not
fully support the cartridge may result in bulged cases, ruptured cases, case
head separation, or other condition which may result in damage to the
firearm and/or result in injury or death of the shooter and/or bystanders."
Your mileage may vary, but my friend still has some of these bullets (I loaded a couple thou for him). His Glock .40 S&W carry pistol for his job likes them. Does not seem to hammer the gun too bad and accuracy is decent for a plinking load.
He has not reported any case problems or separation, but he swaps in a longer ported Lone Wolf barrel when he shoots these n his Glock.
Some of the "Glock armorers" around here say never shoot cast lead in a Glock no matter the barrel but I know lots of guys that do with Lone Wolf barrels.

I'm sorry RemMan I probably wasn't clear it might show up at Hodgdon Universal, Universal Clays isn't as hot as regular Clays

Ok then.. Lyman also shows "Universal" (if that is the same as Universal Clays).
Two different 175gr cast bullet profiles shown in the Lyman book
Lyman bullet # 401043 using #2 Alloy = Start charge: 4.8gr of Universal/ COL 1.125"/ 832fps / 15,300 CUP
Max charge: 5.5gr of Universal/ 1006fps / 21,900 CUP
Lyman bullet # 401638 using #2 Alloy = Start charge: 4.7gr of Universal/ COL 1.100"/ 871fps / 17,400 CUP
Max charge: 5.4gr of Universal/ 1009fps/ 22,900 CUP
