308 Arrow = big power in a small package.
I might have to look into getting one of these....308 ballistics in a standard AR15 sized rifle.
Take a look:

Velocity!
The whisper is a low velocity...near sub-sonic round. Well, actually more like a 30-30 with factory loads.
An average velocity difference of about 500fps. For example:
300 Whisper 125gr travels at 2300fps
308 Arrow 125gr travels at 2814fps

I wish I could get just the barrel ,bolt and recoil spring. They are made by Arrow arms...I first saw them in a Tactical Innovations flyer.

They even have reloading data for it on their site. Looks like magnum pistol powder is used and faster rifle powder.

Hawcer take a look at these. Not sure if you have seen them. Not bad volocities with the 18 and 20 inch barrels. Versus the 22" barrel data on the 308 arrow. Any thoughts? They look very simalar. I do like the Idea of 1-11 twist rather then the 1-12 Arrow. the 18" barrel is a Noveske.

yeah, someone else pointed those out on here...I can't remember who(sorry)
I like how it uses a standard bolt instead of a x39 bolt. Looks like I have homework to do.

That's not too bad of a difference...not what I call cheap though. It does make the 7.62x40 look a little better since you can reform 223 brass and make it yourself.
