my four point!
here are some pics of my four point from sat and the short version of the story! i was sitting in a homemade stand iv been hunting for the last week i seen 4 does last sat and my bro-in-law seen 5 does this friday so i knew there had to be a buck running that ridge somewhere! about 730 i heard a small limb pop so i scanned the top of the ridge (very very thick) i saw some movement found him in my scope and dropped him in his tracks! i was very please with the 336 marlin 35 rem!

Boy, that's a nice fat bugger right there! Man, he's been eating good this year, and I bet you filled a nice corner of that freezer too. Should be some fantastic eating right there.

That .35 packs a heck of a wallop! My older brother is a year and a half older than me and he still carries his .35 every year, it was his very first deer rifle when he was 12 yrs. old......he's 43 now.

yea he was huge last saterday my brother in law killed a doe it was a big doe well i quardered it for him we fit the whole deer in a cooler this one i had a hard time fitting two hams in the same cooler he was a cow! when i first saw him i knew he was a buck and i refused to look at his horns cause i thought hw was a monster!

He is a huge buck by anybody's standards, you can't eat the rack anyway.
I need a doe to cut up into steaks and for purposes of good eating, and tenderness, I'm going to try and take the smallest one that gives me a good clean shot. Unless it's a wall hanger, I would pass up a buck right now to put some tender steaks in the freezer.
There comes a time when putting some good meat in the freezer is more important than vanity.

thats exactly right i got a freezer full i got more that enough i got a doe and that four so unless its really small doe i can eat in one day or a monster to put on the wall i want kill anymore lol! my wife and boy want eat it so im the only one who eats wild meat i got some squirrels from this fall and 2 deer in the freezer thats more than enough for me!
