Thanks I appreciate it. probably what my post should say is that was his first buck ever and he got him this year. also sorry i posted this in the wrong place I wasnt meaning to rob your grandsons thunder. I tried to delete the post but couldnt. I am a grandpa too and cant wait till my grandsons are big enough to hunt with us. I would much rather see them get deer than me any day its much more rewarding at least to me it is any way again Congrats on your grandsons deer. It's allways great to see the kids and grand kid get in to the hunting and shooting sports. No problem with the post. Like you said lucky or not it's in the freezer (we all need a little good luck).

That's a nice one to start with! My first deer was a small fork horn, but I was so proud of it that you would have thought it made B&C.
The trophy is in the eye of the beholder, and I'm sure your son is hooked for life now.
