Swaging Question
I Know that I can use a .40 spent case to swage for a 44 mag and 45 acp. I now have a set of swage dies to swage .38/.357, however, I am not sure what spent case I can use for a Jacket.
Any thoughts??
Also, what is the advantage of half jackets?? I have quite a bit of half jacket cups for this caliber..... Just not sure if I am into half jackets or not.... Still thinking on it....

Re: Swaging Question
I believe that the 32 auto works. This is not first hand but recollection from a faulty memory. I don't think the 32's will be as economical as using the 40's for the larger cal.

Re: Swaging Question
Hey it would be a big help if you annealed them before you send them.

Re: Swaging Question
Not a clue. I have not spoken with Dave in a while. The last I heard, from what he said, they only do limited runs now. Then it is first come, first served. They do a run, put it on the site and it is there until sold out. Then later, they do another batch. I forget what the inbetween time is.

Re: Swaging Question
This is from their website:
"All bullet swage dies are now a semi-prodution item. This means that they will no longer me kept in stock as a standard item. We will make a run of these dies once every 12-18 months. So when they're gone, they're gone until the next run. Call for availability."
