testing tubing jacket bullets
i finally got my wax molded back up and shot a few of the tubing jacket bullets.. they made it 6 inches into the wax. i think one hit the other but anyhow here are the results....bill

That's great expansion for a 9mm, and what is the most impressive to me is the fact that the jackets are still intact!!

accuracy is next on my to do list mo, when i first loaded them up they went straight thru 16 inches of wax and kept on going so i had to make a bigger hp punch lol(fmj hollow points) now i got the expansion i was lookin for so i need to work on accuracy...bill

That's some great progress so far though. The accuracy will come with load development I'm sure. You can tweak your recipe, bullet seating depth, ect. to bring em around.

thanks Bill i had been chewing on getting or making a copper tubing jacket set for 30 cal. but I pretty much only hunt with my rifles and i was worried about expansion. not anymore Thanks.
