I got to shoot a Rock Island Arms Micro Mag at the range today. It is a 1911 kit gun that comes with a 9mm barrel and a barrel chambered in 22 TC which is a new round. I only got to shoot it as a 9mm and I was very surprised how smooth and accurate it was. It has a double stack magazine that I believe held 16-17 rounds. I definitely will be looking at the Rock Island guns when ever I go to buy a 1911 in the future.
