Deer and Fish
Well I dont have a "Recipe" but what I do with deer is i cut the meat all off the bone. Cut it into relatively thin strips (Against the grain of the meat or it will be tough) Roll it in salted and peppered flour and pan fry it until its brown. It is heavenly.
Fish If its a fish like Cat-fish bass perch walleye i fillet the fish taking all the skin and bones out. Roll it in salted corn meal I like yellow the best but white is ok. Deep fry it to golden brown. at the same time fry in the same hot oil some hush-puppies I will get the recipe for those later. and often just chuck in some sliced potatos for golden cottage fries. and there my ATG friends is a feast fit for a king. I sometimes change things up by using Andys Fish breading "Orange" package instead of corn meal but Yellow corn meal is the best IMO

Re: Deer and Fish
Yep.......That's exactly how it's done!
Perfect Reload3006...........Absolutely Perfect!
I'm gonna have to get out and get me some fish............all this fish talk lately and now we are cooking them, complete with pictures is making me fish hungry!!
BTW- I cook my tenderloin the same way you just described. Cut crosswise across the back strap and make 1/4" to 3/8" medallions, roll in seasoned flour and fry in a large skillet.
MMmmmmm.......Mmmmmmmmmm.......Good!

Hey Reload..........I just noticed something in the picture.
Are those Wop Top biscuits there on that paper plate fried in the fish oil??
Man those are awesome! We always have some floating in our kettle when we fry fish in the garage. Some home made apple butter or grape jelly and it's so good.........it'll make you slap your grandma!!

You know, this did not help me out at all LOL. I was sitting at FedEx during my orientation today. Everytime they mentioned taking a break for lunch, all I could envision was this thread....
