Has anyone tried NwCP Bullets?
I was surfing the net and came across this company that makes some interesting custom bullets. I might have to try some in my 450b. They claim to be a good high velocity, long range hunting bullet for handguns such as the 45lc,454 and 460.

I glanced at the rest of their site...lots of interesting bullet types. The handgun bullets are not priced too bad for a custom bullet...but it get a little extreme on their rifle bullets...especially the .224's. I mean ,come on...$65.00 per 100 flat based hunting bullets....it might be just a typo.

Not really when compared to other .452" hunting bullets that usually sell for about $25.00 per 50.

Re: Has anyone tried NwCP Bullets?
if I could use the standard 45acp bullets, I would. first off they have to be .452", not the standard .451"...second they have to be able to withstand 2000 + fps....most 45acp's are under 1000fps.
So that kinda leaves me with a fairly small selection of bullets to use in the 450B.
Thanks for the input dart....the XTP's designed for magnums are the most affordable as far as my selection goes.

Some guys will pay for confidence. Maybe they are the best of the best but that's a lot of money

as a custom bullet maker myself, i can tell you for fact that only the 22's are over priced. The rest are inline with what you see everywhere else from custom makers.
Now if any of want 22's I will sell you all you want and if you want to $67 per 100 I'll even do that especially if it will make you feel better about the quality.

I have shot a lot of their bullets and the fact that they are close to me and in one of the states that I regularly hunt for self-erecting biodegradable targets (prarie rats), I had to stop in and see their shop.
They are realy friendly folks and will give you a tour of their shop and a cup of coffee while you walk through more Corbin equipment than I knew excisted.
They are OMFG pricey!!
I love the 30 cal 180 gr RBT-AT in my 300 RUM, but I wish they made them a tad heavier since the Shilen 30" Palma barrel in a 1 in 8 twist and was made more for the 215s and 220+ gr bullets.
I wish they made the same bullet in .338 225+ gr for my .338 Edge (.300 RUM knecked up to .338 with a 40 deg shoulder, the .338 RUM is actually a tad shorter and loses about 7 gr of powder - oh no!) with another Shilen 30" Palma with the same 1-8 twist.
